In lieu of recent events (I got accepted for the Trainee/Mastership programme Data Science & AI) I decided I want to expand my portfolio – from nothing to something – to keep both myself and potential recruiters interested. What better way to do this than by keeping a blog where I can dump everything I have been doing, with the added benefit of having a bit of pressure to keep posting stuff to remind myself of my goal.
For now there are 2 larger goals I want to move towards.
Goal Number 1: I want to get busy with some type of data science project of my own. Or multiple projects. The idea being that I learn better by doing and these projects will challenge my understanding and show me where I’m at, skills-wise.
Goal Number 2: Keep this blog up. Just keep posting stuff, every sunday if possible, but at least once a month. I like the idea of writing and sharing, buyt I need some practice, and what better to do this than just doing it?
Now follows a list of ideas that I can pull from if I need some inspiration. I’ll make separate pages for data science projects, book reviews, arts & crafts and finally internal musings. These are things I get busy with in my personal life and would make a great source of blog material.
